Girls Adoption Connect recognizes that adoption stories and adoption-related discussions are deeply personal and sensitive. Adoptees are encouraged to share only what they feel safe and comfortable sharing, understanding that submissions may be published publicly to support and connect the broader adoptee community.
Girls Adoption Connect reserves the right to edit, decline, remove, unpublish, or repost submissions at its discretion at any time. Requests for edits or removal of published posts will only be considered in cases of factual correction. Multiple Adoptee Spotlight submissions per person are not accepted. All submissions may be edited prior to publication to maintain clarity, safety, and integrity.
All content published on Girls Adoption Connect is the property of Girls Adoption Connect and its contributors unless otherwise stated. Contributors are responsible for ensuring submitted content is original and properly owned.
Community Engagement
Comments across Girls Adoption Connect platforms are actively moderated. Community members are encouraged to engage thoughtfully and respectfully. Content that is harmful, misleading, or unsafe may be removed to preserve a supportive environment for adoptees.
Girls Adoption Connect also hosts Instagram group chats organized by adoption region. Participants should join only chats aligned with their background. Inappropriate behavior, misinformation, or disruption may result in removal from community spaces.
Collaboration
Girls Adoption Connect is open to thoughtful collaborations with adoption-related organizations, community groups, and non-profits. Unsolicited promotional content or individual solicitations will not be accepted. All collaborations are reviewed and may be declined or discontinued at any time.
Inclusivity
Girls Adoption Connect is committed to fostering a welcoming, affirming, and accessible space for adoptees of all backgrounds. While the platform centers women-identifying adoptees, all adoptee voices are valued and respected. The community remains inclusive and grounded in shared understanding, representation, and connection.
